Quantidade e qualidade de emprego criados em empreendimentos por oportunidade e por necessidade em Moçambique

Resumen

O estudo teve como objectivo comparar a quantidade e a qualidade dos empregos criados por empreendedores por oportunidade e por necessidade nas cidades de Maputo, Beira e Nampula. Realizou-se um estudo quantitativo, não experimental, transversal e descritivo-comparativo com 551 empreendedores selecionados por conveniência em mercados e centros comerciais. Os dados foram recolhidos por questionário e analisados mediante estatística descritiva, teste do qui-quadrado, análise de variância, comparação de Tukey e teste t de Student, considerando-se 5% de significância. Os empreendedores por necessidade representaram 72% da amostra e apresentaram maior número total e médio de empregos; contudo, os empreendedores por oportunidade registaram proporções mais favoráveis de cumprimento do salário mínimo, jornada dentro do limite legal, contrato e segurança laboral e sindicalização. Os salários médios não diferiram significativamente entre os dois tipos de empreendedorismo, mas variaram entre as cidades. Concluiu-se que a quantidade de postos criados não correspondeu necessariamente a melhores condições de trabalho. Os resultados limitaram-se aos participantes estudados e não permitiram generalização para todo o território moçambicano.
